Lincoln9 Whitney (Merrick8, Samuel7, Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Merrick8 and Harriett (Adams) Whitney, was born 1 Jul 1834, and died 23 Aug 1910, Ashburnham, MA, aged 76 years 1 month 22 days, of probable organic disease of heart and blood vessels.[1]

He married firstly, 5 Feb 1859, Ashburnham, MA, or Gardner, MA, Mary Caroline McIntire, daughter of Franklin and Mary G. (Adams) McIntire.[2] She was born 28 Dec 1837,[3] Springfield, VT, and died 10 Feb 1888, Ashburnham, MA, aged 50 years 1 month 10 days, of consumption.[4]

He married secondly, 30 Dec 1889, Ashburnham, MA, Charlotte M. (Avery) Poulton. She was born about 1837, Charlemont, MA,[5]

He resided Ashburnham, MA.
