Whitney, was born about 28 Oct 1825, Winchendon or Watertown, MA, and died 11 Mar 1909, Paxton, MA, aged 76 years 4 months 13 days, of chronic fibroid phthsis.^[1] He was buried in Paxton, MA.

He married, 29 Jul 1875, Oakham, MA, or 22 Sep 1875, Paxton, MA, Sophronia Lucretia Bemis, daughter of Tyler and Caroline A. (Brown) Bemis.^[2]. She was born 29 Dec 1846, Paxton, MA, and died after 1920.
