Jarville C. Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1818, VT, and died after 1860.

He married, before 1838, Lydia F. Preston, daughter of Samuel and Susanna (Thomas) Preston. She was born about 30 Oct 1818, Vernon, VT, and died 12 Mar 1888, Worcester, MA, aged 69 years 4 months 12 days, of heart failure.[1]

vi. Isadore Josephine Whitney, b. 30 Apr 1851, Worcester, MA;[5] d. 18 or 12 Jan 1910, Worcester, MA, aged 58 years 8 months 17 days, of neprhitis;[6] m. 10 Aug 1872, Worcester, MA, Albert W. Preston, b. ca. 1848, Worcester, MA, son of Eleazer F. & Julia (-----) Preston.[7]
