Jacob Milton8 Whitney (Jacob7, Jacob6, Richard5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Jacob7 and Mercy Fairbank7 (Whitney) Whitney, was born about 20 May 1816, was baptized 28 Jul 1816, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 5 Nov 1888, Fitchburg, MA, aged 72 years 5 months 15 days, of uraemia.[2]

He married, 21 Apr 1842, Harvard, MA, Sarah Ann Morton Bigelow,[3] daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Atherton) Bigelow. She was born 5 Feb 1821, Harvard, MA,[4] and died 18 Aug 1862, Harvard, MA, aged 41 years 6 months 13 days, of dysentery.[5]
