George Freeman9 Whitney (George F.8, Freeman7, Enoch6, Moses5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of George F.8 and Mary A. (Bailey) Whitney, was born 24 Sep 1850, Harrison or Hallowell, ME, died 9 Jul 1930, and is buried in the Harrison Village Cemetery, Harrison, ME.

He married firstly, 10 Nov 1875, Frederica Boody of Westbrook, ME. She died 28 June 1878 in Harrison, ME.

He married secondly, 21 Sep 1880, Worcester, MA, Susan Edith Converse (as "Edith S."), daughter of Alpheus and Sophia A. Converse,[1] of North Brookfield, MA. She was born 17 May 1858, MA, and died 13 Jan 1913.

He resided 175 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA.
