George8 Whitney (Joseph Holden7, Joel6, Jonas5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Joseph Holden7 and Betsey (Pratt) Whitney, was born 14 Oct 1822, Westminster, MA,[1] and died 7 Mar 1880, Phillipston or Westminster, MA, aged 57 years,[2] or aged 57 years 4 months 22 days, of heart disease.[3]

He married, 31 Mar 1846 [Pierce] or 23 Mar 1846, Westminster, MA, Aldice Adams,[4] daughter of George and Sally (-----) Adams. She was born 11 Apr 1828, and died 18 Feb 1881, Phillipston, MA, aged 52 years 10 months 7 days, of suicide by hanging.[5]

He resided Phillipston, MA.
