Christopher C.7 Whitney (Alpheus7, Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Alpheus7 and Sally (Stone) Whitney, was born 16 Jun 1827, Halifax, VT, and died 2 Mar 1889, Westborough, MA, aged 61 years 8 months 14 days, of rheumatic fever.[1]

He married, 11 May 1851, Bellingham, MA, Abbie Morse Thompson, daughter of Baxter and Abigail (Morse) Thompson.[2] She was born about 26 Feb 1826, Bellingham, MA, and died 16 May 1901, Westborough, MA, aged 75 years 2 months 20 days, of carditis.[3]

Frank Christopher8 Whitney, b. 8 Aug 1852, Westborough, MA;[4] d. 4 May 1885, Westborough, MA, aged 31 years 8 months 26 days, of chronic rheumatism;[5] m. 1 Aug 1871, Westborough, MA, Charlotte Matilda "Lottie" Wheeler,[6] b. 19 Aug 1853, Grafton, MA, d. 19 May 1899, Shrewsbury, MA, aged 45 years 9 months 1 day, of peritonitis, dau. of Samuel Alonzo and Lucina Webber (Thompson) Wheeler.[7] Apparently there was a divorce, since he m.(2) 19 Mar 1881, Brattleboro, VT, Alta Pamelia (Dean) Howe,[8] dau. of Sumner and Sarah (Corse) Dean. She had m.(1) 17 Mar 1875, Athol, MA, Charles H. Howe. She m.(3) 31 Dec 1888, Waltham, MA, Charles Francis Marsh, b. ca. 1847, Boston, MA, son of Rufus C. and Sarah E. (-----) Marsh.[9]
ii. Abbie Maria Whitney, b. 11 Jul 1857, Westborough, MA;[10] d. 26 Jun 1906, Westborough, MA, aged 48 years 11 days, of nervous prostration;[11] m. 25 Sep 1884, Lynn, MA, Frank Valentine Bartlett, b. ca. 1857, Northborough, MA, son of William A. and Rebecca (-----) Bartlett.[12]
iii. Nellie Ella Whitney, b. 26 Jun 1859 [no given name], Westborough, MA;[13] m. 31 Dec 1879, Westborough, MA, George H. Woodman, b. ca. 1857, Westborough, MA, son of Robert and Charlotte (-----) Woodman.[14]
