Charles Henry8 Whitney (Nathan7, Abijah6, Joseph5, John4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Nathan7 and Martha (Stearns) Whitney, was born 9 Oct 1821, Lincoln, MA,[1] and died 24 Jun 1890, Lincoln, MA, or Boston, MA, or Roxbury, MA, aged 68 years 8 months 15 days, of heart disease.[2]

He married, 25 Aug 1844, Lincoln, MA, Eliza W. Brigham, daughter of John and Achsah B. (-----) Brigham.[3] She was born 7 Oct 1826,[4] Concord, MA, and died 24 Dec 1896, Wayland, MA, aged 70 years 2 months 17 days, of phthisis.page 442 She was buried in Lincoln, MA.

He was a farmer and resided Lincoln, MA.

iv. Hattie Maria Whitney, b. 4 Jan 1860, or 4 Jan 1861, Lincoln, MA;[10] m. 15 Oct 1883, or 10 Oct 1884, Weston, MA [also recorded in Lexington, MA], Marshall C. Baldwin, b. ca. 1859, Weston, MA, son of Samuel E. and Amanda E. (-----) Baldwin.[11]. He resided Lincoln.
