Charles H. Whitney (Perez, James, [poss.] Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Perez and Mary (Newcomb) Whitney, was born 13 Sep 1846, Cumberland, ME, and died after 1910.

He married, 18 May 1867, Portsmouth, NH, Flora E. Harding,[1] daughter of Nathan and Susan (Martin) Harding. She was born Oct 1848, Detroit, ME, and died after 1900.

iv. Grace May Whitney, b. 15 Jul 1874, Rockport, MA;[4] m. 20 Jul 1901, Boston, MA, Alfred Williamson, b. ca. 1874, Wakefield, MA, son of James and Isabella (Kee) Williamson.[5]
v. Charles H. Whitney, b. 8 Feb 1876, Rockport, MA [given name omitted].[6]
vi. Leon Elmer Whitney, b. 4 Jul 1877, ME; m. Edna M. Sylvester, b. 11 Apr 1883, Durham, ME, dau. of Joseph Henry and Mary E. (Gay) Sylvester.
