He married, 11 Feb 1885, Boston, MA, Belle Grant Armstrong, daughter of Thomas Ansley and Sarah Sophia (Murphy) Armstrong. She was born 27 Sep 1861, Aylesford, NS.

He resided Boston, MA, 17 Hotel Pelham.

NOTE: This family's surname should be Armstrong. "Crawly" may have been Ainsley C. Armstrong's middle name. They all appear in the 1910 census of Boston, MA. Lloyd Whitney was a nephew because his mother was Belle Grant Armstrong, a sister of Ainsley C. Armstrong.
