Thomas Billing (Hannah4 Whitney, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Nathaniel and Hannah4 (Whitney) Billing,[1] was born 9 May 1712, Concord, MA.[2] His date and place of death are unknown.

He married, about 1731, Sarah (?Fay?).[3] If the identification of his wife is correct, she was daughter of Gershom and Mary (Brigham) Fay,[4] born 2 Oct 1710, Westborough, MA.[5] Her date and place of death are unknown.

3.^  That his wife was named Sarah is revealed by the record of birth of their children. That she was born about 1710 is an estimate based on the birth date of her oldest child and the age of her husband. Thomas's sister Hannah married Silas Fay, who had a sister Sarah Fay. Orlin P. Fay, Fay Genealogy: John Fay of Marlborough and His Descendants (Cleveland, 1898), p. 337, says that Sarah married Timothy Billings. The L.D.S. International Genealogical Index shows that this Sarah Fay married Thomas or Timothy Billing. I cannot find any Timothy Billing(s) who could have been her spouse. Putting these facts together, it seems that Sarah Fay married this Thomas Billing. Of course, this is not proof!
