David⁷ Whitney (Elijah⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Elijah⁶ and Mindwell (Hardy) Whitney; born Westborough, Massachusetts, 9 Jun 1795; married Samaria Wheeler, of Grafton, Massachusetts. He was born on a farm in Westborough, Massachusetts; was a farmer all his life. Account of George D. Whitney, administrator of the estate of David Whitney, Grafton, died 9 Dec 1871: Widow, Samaria; son, Rufus H., Brookline; son George D., Grafton; Harriett M. Mann, wife of Henry Mann, Grafton; Sarah I. Fay, wife of Jasper Fay, Westborough; Susan C. Whitney, Grafton, all daughters of David; George D. appointed 4 Feb 1872. He died Grafton, 9 Dec 1871; resided Westborough, Massachusetts.
