Hon. William7 Whitney (William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of William6 and Mary (Mansfield) Whitney, was born in 1765, and died 18 Jan 1846, Gardner, MA.
He married, 13 Jan 1791, Anna Heywood. She was born 28 Jan 1770, and died 21 Jan 1846.
Hon. William Whitney, was born in Winchendon, MA. In 1765, he early moved to Gardner, where he was a leading and influential citizen. He owned a large farm. For eleven years he was one of the board of selectmen, for twenty-five years assessor, and for there terms representative in the legislature. For many years he was justice of the peace. He resided Winchendon and Gardner, MA. Both buried at the same time.
