George Lyman⁹ Whitney (Lyman⁸, James⁷, John⁶, James⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², [[Family:Whitney, John (1592-1673)|John¹]), son of Lyman⁸ and Mary (Leland) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1848, Sherborn, MA,^[1] and died after 1900.

He married, 23 or 24 Nov 1872, Sherborn, MA, Martha A. Fleming, daughter of John and Elisabeth (-----) Fleming.^[2] She was born 25 Feb 1849, Boston, MA, and died after 19000.

He is a farmer and also conducts a large livery stable; resided South Framiningham, MA.
