Family:Whitney, Winfield Scott (c1850-a1880)

Winfield Scott⁹ Whitney (William W.⁸, Moses⁷, Moses⁶, Ephraim⁵, Moses⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of William W.⁸ and Catherine S. (Robbins) Whitney, was born about 1850, Berlin, NH, and died after 1880.

He married firstly, 23 Sep 1871, Winterport, ME, Emily S. Mills,^[1] daughter of George V. and Dorothy (Farnham) Mills. She was born 13 Sep 1846, Brooksville, ME, and died 8 Aug 1876, probably Winterport, ME. She was buried in Mount Rest Cemetery, Hancock County, ME.^[2]

He married secondly, 19 Aug 1878, Winterport, ME, Lizzie M. Nason.^[3] She was born about 1852, ME, and died after 1880.
