My grandmother is Isabell Whitney Staver. Her father was Wallace Brown Whitney. Her uncle Tracy Whitney was born in January 1900. This site has his birthdate as 1897?, but I know he was born 1900. I think his sister Elizabeth was after him, like 1902. I'd have to check my records. Tracy died in 1980 or thereabouts. I was a kid and he was my penpal (and my great great uncle).

My grandmother's grandfather was Asa William Whitney of Philadelphia. His father was James Shield Whitney. Then his father is Asa Williams Whitney who was married to Clarinda. We have oil painting portraits of these two.
