William Granville10 Whitney (William Francis Brown9, John Dudley8, Jonathan7, Jonathan6, Joseph5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1}, son of William Francis Brown9 and Annie (McNerney) Whitney, was born 30 Oct 1867, Acton, MA [also recorded at Watertown, MA],[1] and died after 1920.

He "Willie G." married, 1 Nov 1884, Framingham, MA, Mary H. Wildes, both of Framingham, daughter of Edward and Mary (Ginty) Wildes.[2] She was born about 1868, England, and died 12 Jul 1900, Boston, MA, aged 29 years, of acute pancreatitis and shock.[3]

In 1884 he was a rubber boot maker living in Framingham, MA. In 1894 he was a cutter living at 35 Dunlow St., Boston, MA. In 1898 he was a clothing cutter living at 35 Dunlow St., Boston, MA. In 1899 he was a rubber cutter living at 35 Dunlow St., Boston, MA.

viii. Helen Whitney, b. 9 Sep 1898, Boston, MA;[12] "Ellen" d. 20 Feb 1899, Boston, MA, aged 4 months, of unknown cause.[13]
ix. George Whitney, b. 21 Nov 1899, Boston, MA;[14] d. 19 Aug 1900, Marlborough, MA, aged 8 months 24 days, of scrofula.[15]
