William Granville¹⁰ Whitney (William Francis Brown⁹, John Dudley⁸, Jonathan⁷, Jonathan⁶, Joseph⁵, Benjamin⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹}, son of William Francis Brown⁹ and Annie (McNerney) Whitney, was born 30 Oct 1867, Acton, MA [also recorded at Watertown, MA],^[1] and died after 1920.

He "Willie G." married, 1 Nov 1884, Framingham, MA, Mary H. Wildes, both of Framingham, daughter of Edward and Mary (Ginty) Wildes.^[2] She was born about 1868, England, and died 12 Jul 1900, Boston, MA, aged 29 years, of acute pancreatitis and shock.^[3]

In 1884 he was a rubber boot maker living in Framingham, MA. In 1894 he was a cutter living at 35 Dunlow St., Boston, MA. In 1898 he was a clothing cutter living at 35 Dunlow St., Boston, MA. In 1899 he was a rubber cutter living at 35 Dunlow St., Boston, MA.
