who was born at Providence, N.Y., 31 Dec. 1806, son of Jonathan and Phebe (Hart) Delano. They settled at Eagle Harbor, in Gaines; and in the Spring of 1834, moved to Michigan, where he died, 23 Nov. 1834, and was buried. She returned to Barre, N.Y., and died there, 18 Oct. 1856, and was buried in the Long Bridge Cemetery, west of Eagle Harbor.

Electa Whitney, b. in Lower Canada, name of place unknown, 4 Nov. 1807; married at Eagle Harbor, in Gaines, N.Y., 30 Nov. 1818, Lucius Cobb, a farmer, who was born in Manlius, N.Y., 5 Jan. 1801, son of Isaac and Eunice (Williams) Cobb. They settled in Shelby, N.Y.; and moved, in 1831, to Barre, lived there till the Autumn of 1869, and finally settled in the village of Akron, in Newstead, where they were living in 1874.

Levi St. Clair Whitney, b. in Morristown, Vt., 15 March 1811; a shoemaker; married, 14 Dec. 1834, in Fairfield, N.J., Clarissa Jones, who was born in Fairfield, 6 March 1814, dau. of Lewis and Abigail Benton (Davis) Jones. After dwelling several years in Orange, N.J., he moved, in 1842, to Utica, N.Y., and thence, in 1844, to Eagle Harbor, in Gaines, N.Y., where he was living in 1874.

Azubah Eaton, b. at Johnson, Vt., 18 Jan. 1796; married in Dec. 1847, at Johnson, as his second wife, Hiram Patch, a farmer, son of Isaac and Hannah (Wilson) Patch, of Jamestown, N.H., where he was born in 1806. They dwelt in various places, but principally in Johnson. She died, without children, 20 Sept. 1866, at Wolcott, Vt., and was buried in Johnson, near her husband's first wife. He was living at Eden Corners, Vt., in June 1875, with his third wife.
