Jonathan⁷ Whitney (Jonathan⁶, Joseph⁵, Benjamin⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), son of Jonathan⁶ and Susanna (Norcross) Whitney, was born 15 Dec 1769, Watertown, MA,^[1] and died Dec 1829, Watertown, MA.

Marriage intentions were published 22 Feb 1793, Watertown, MA, for him "Jr." "of Watertown" and Lucy Park "of Lincoln".^[2] He "of Watertown" married 9 Apr 1793, Lincoln, MA, Lucy Parks,^[3] daughter of Daniel and Lydia (Priest) Parks. She was born 10 Dec 1774, Lincoln, MA, and died in the winter of 1851, Woburn, Massachusetts. Possibly this is her death record: Lexington, MA, 17 Aug 1850, Lucy Whitney, aged 76, female, born in Lincoln, parents not given, of dropsy.^[4]

They resided Watertown and Marshfield, Massachusetts. He had 18 children, 3 dying in infancy.
