Walter L.9 Whitney (Gilbert H.8, Lewis Jones7, Jabez6, Jacob5, Jonas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Gilbert H.8 and Helen Mar (Woods) Whitney, was born about 1855, Athol, MA, and died 2 Dec 1901, Athol, MA, aged 36 years 3 months 5 days, of suicide, shot through heart.[1]
He married, 2 Aug 1887, Athol, MA, Jennie B. Moore.[2]
