Richard Whitney, parentage unknown but perhaps the same as Richard Whitney, son of Richard Whitney, baptized 17 Jan 1688, Ludlow, Shropshire.
He married, 15 Jul 1711, Morton Say, Shropshire, Jane Roberts.
Children of Richard and Jane (Roberts) Whitney, possibly incomplete:
i. Isabell Whitney, bp. 12 Jul 1712. ii. Thomas Whitney, bp. 5 May 1715, Morton Say, Shropshire, England. iii. Richard Whitney, b. 15 Dec 1718, Morton Say, Shropshire, England; m. Mary Embery.
Notes
A descendant's DNA test results are available. At present, they do not match any other Whitneys tested.
