John J.2 Whitney (Patrick D.1), son of Patrick D.1 and Mary A. (Gregory) Whitney, was born 9 Dec 1856, VT, and died 24 Oct 1924, Bennington, VT.[1] He was buried in Old Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, VT.[2]

He married firstly, about 1886, Bridget Agnes Enright, daughter of Thomas and Catherine (Crockwell) Enwright. She was born about 1866, or 10 Mar 1869, Port Henry, NY, and died 9 Aug 1948, Bennington, VT.[3]

He married secondly,
