Andrew7 Whitney (Ezra6, Ezra5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Ezra6 and Sally (Hooker) Whitney, was born 26 Apr 1804, Rockingham, VT, and died between 1855 and 1860.

He married, sometime probably before 1828, Clementine Scott, daughter of David Wetherell and Sally (Marsh) Scott. She was born 7 Oct 1809, Hartland, VT, and died after 1870.

He moved with his parents and siblings from the family home in Vermont to Allegany County, NY, in 1817.

In 1820, Andrew was listed on the census as being engaged in agriculture.

In 1830, Andrew Whitney and his family were enumerated in Burns Township, Allegany Co, NY. The family consisted of 1 male 30-40 [Andrew], 2 males 0-5 [Ezra, Jerome], 1 female 20-30 [Climetine], and 1 female 0-5 [Letitia].

In 1840, Andrew Whitney and his family were enumerated in Burns Township, Allegany Co, NY. The family consisted of 1 male 30-40 [Andrew], 2 males 10-15 [Ezra, Jerome], 2 males 0-5 [Andrew, Carver], 1 female 30-40 [Climetine], 3 females 5-10 [Letitia, Arlette, Lavina], and 1 female 0-5 [Joanna]. Two people were engaged in agriculture.

On 3 December 1845 Andrew Whitney, son of Ezra, aged 41 years, a resident of Burns, Allegany Co., NY, presented his fathers discharge that he found among some old papers in an old chest. Andrew stated that he lived with his father until he was 21 years of age, and after that time lived within about a mile of his father, and that he was currently a resident of Burns.

In 1850, Andrew Whitney and his family were enumerated in Burns Township, Allegany Co, NY. Andrew owned $4300, Ezra owned $380.

Andrew Whitney died sometime after 1850 and probably before 1860.
