Alpheus Spring Chandler8 Whitney (Joel7, Ephraim6, Joel5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Joel7 and Jane Elizabeth (Corthell) Whitney, was born 25 Mar 1822, Jonesboro, ME, and died 18 Sep 1876, Livonia Twp., Sherburne Co., MN.
He married firstly, Salome K. Smith. She was born 1826, Whitneyville, ME, and died 1862, Anoka Co., Minnesota.
He married secondly, Lucy -----. She was born about 1817, NH, as seen in the 1870 census of Livonia, MN.
