Obediah Higgins7 Whitney (Levi6, Abel5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Levi6 and Happy (Higgins) Whitney. He was born 19 Jan 1809, Standish, ME,[1] was baptized 17 Oct 1809, First Church, Standish, ME,[2] and died after 1880, Windham, ME. He was buried McIntosh Cemetery, Windham, ME.[3]
Marriage intentions were published 23 Jan 1836, Standish, ME, for him and Louisa Bangs.[4] He married firstly, 14 Feb 1836, Standish, ME, Louisa Bangs,[5] daughter of James and Mary (Lakeman) Bangs. She was born between Sep 1811/1812, Gorham, ME, and died 13 May 1852, Windham, ME.
He married secondly, 3 Sep 1853, Windham, ME, Louisa Ann Hawkes, "both of Windham",[6] daughter of Benjamin and Tamsin (Cobb) Hawkes. She was born about 1812, ME, and died between 1860 and 1870.
He married, third, 2 May 1875, Windham, ME, Rebecca Farington. She was born about 1812, ME, and died after 1880.
He was a farmer.
