Gamaliel Taylor7 Whitney (Josiah6, Hezekiah5, Hezekiah4, Joseph3, John2, Henry1), son of Josiah6 and Tema (Taylor)(Toby) Whitney, was born 2 Jul 1802 (twin), Wolcott, VT, and died 9 Mar 1873, Craftsbury, VT, where he was buried.

He married, 2 or 20 Aug 1829, Craftsbury, VT, Fanny Preston.[1] She was born 6 Dec 1803, Peacham, VT, and died after 1874. She married secondly, 5 Dec 1873, William Hanson of Greensborough, VT.

Phoenix says the following:

"... a farmer .... He settled in Wolcott; and, in the latter part of his life, removed to Craftsbury ...."
