Levi6 Whitney (Abel5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1),\ born Gorham, Maine, 15 May 1778; married at Cape Cod, Sept., 1801, Happy Higgins; born Cape Cod, 17 Apr 1781; died in 1856. He died in 1855; resided Standish Maine.
Children of Levi6 Whitney:
i. Abel7 Whitney, born Mar., 1810; married Sarah Cole. ii. Phineas Whitney, born -----. iii. Obediah Whitney, born Standish, Maine, January 19, 1809; married at Standish, Maine, February 14, 1836, Louisa Bangs; born b/w 1811 and 1812 in Gorham, Maine; died May 13, 1852 in Windham, Maine. He died after 1880 in Windham, Maine.-----. iv. Joseph Whitney, born 28 Dec 1813; married Harriett Morse; resided Sanford, Maine. v. Levi Whitney, born -----. vi.
