Daniel7 Whitney (Israel6, Daniel5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Israel6 and Sally (Mills) Whitney, was born about 1822, Watertown, MA, and died after 1880.

Marriage intentions were published 9 Nov 1845, Marlborough, MA, for him and Sarah Jennison.[1] She was born about 1825, Needham, MA, and died after 1880.

i. Ann Maria8 Whitney, b. 28 May 1846, Marlborough, MA;[2] d. 11 May 1847, Marlborough, MA, aged 9 months 11 days, of whooping cough.[3] [Should the death date be 11 March instead of May?--RLW]

iii. Herbert W. Whitney, b. ca. 1851, Marlborough, MA; d. 25 Dec 1875, Hudson, MA, aged 24 years 8 months, of consumption;[5] m. 8 Apr 1872, Hudson, MA, Ada M. "Addie" Witt, daughter of John Y. and Emily (Morse) Witt, b. ca. 1854, Hudson, MA.[6] Child:
