Ephraim A.8 Whitney (Silas7, Silas6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Silas7 and Abigail M. (Shedd) Whitney, was born ca. 31 Jul 1817, Boston, MA, and died 20 Aug 1899, Stoughton, MA, aged 82 years 21 days, of cytitis [sic: probably cystitis].[1]

He married, Boston, Johanna A. Hook, daughter of Gilman and Clarina (-----) Hook. She was born ca. Oct 1824, Boston, MA, and died 28 Aug 1864, Milton, MA, aged 39 years 10 months, of phthisis.[2]

He resided Boston and Stoughton, MA.
