George Witney (Richard), son of Richard and Mary (-----) Witney, perhaps the same couple as Richard and Mary (Dimmock) Witney, born 20 Jan 1770, New Windsor, Berkshire, England, baptized 28 Jan 1770, Little Wittenham, Berkshire, England,^[1] died 24 Oct 1819, Frogmore, New Windsor, Berkshire, England.

He married 1 Apr 1791, New Windsor Parish, Berkshire, England, Ann Umblestone, daughter of John and Ruth (Snelling) Umblestone. She was born circa 1771.

George was an Upholsterer and Cabinet Maker. He was able to vote in the elections of 25 May 1796 and 9 Nov 1806 in New Windsor. He married with father's consent under license as minor.
