He married firstly, 11 Feb 1800, Wilton, NH, Abigail Blanchard,[3] daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Griffin) Blanchard. She was born 11 Jun 1777, Wilton, NH, and died 27 Apr 1843, Athens, VT.
He married secondly, 10 Dec 1845, Newfane, VT, Arathusa (Bartlett) Bruce,[4] daughter of William and Azubah (Gleason) Bartlett. She was born 19 Mar 1794, Newfane, VT, and died on 1 Oct 1868.[5] She had married firstly, 4 Jul 1826, Newfane, VT, Samuel Bruce.
