Family:Whitney, Levi Hubbard (1817-1885)

Levi Hubbard⁸ Whitney (Levi⁷, Jacob⁶, Abraham⁵, Abraham⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Levi⁷ and Rebecca (Warren) Whitney, was born 20 Dec 1817, Stow, MA, was baptized 10 May 1818, Bolton, MA,^[1] and died 15 Jun 1885, Lowell, MA, aged 66 years 5 months 26 days, of apoplexy.^[2]

He "of Poughkeepsie, N.Y." married, 24 Apr 1848, Lowell, MA, Roxanna W. Gates "of Lowell",^[3] daughter of Eli and Anne (Dakin) Gates. She was born about 1824, Lowell or Sudbury, MA, and died 19 Dec 1900, Lowell, MA, aged 77 years, of cerebral hemorrhage.^[4] She was buried in Lowell, MA.
