Joseph4 Whitney (Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Joseph3 and Martha (Beach) Whitney[1], was born 15 Aug 1675,[2] baptized 16 Jan 1686/7, Watertown, MA,[3] and died 3 Jul 1737, Newton, MA, "of Weston."[4]

He married, 10 Apr 1701, Watertown, MA, Hepzibah Flagg,[5] daughter of Thomas and Rebecca (Dix) Flagg.[6] She was born say 1680, and died 2 Jul 1752, Weston, MA.[7]

They lived at Weston, MA.

He left a will on 7 Jan 1736/37 at Weston, MA; of Weston, husbandman; wife Hepzibah, executrix, and entire estate during her life; to Benoni Flagg, son of Thomas Flagg, entire estate after the death of wife; witnesses, Abijah Upham, Samuel Seavernes, Ebenr. Allen; signed by mark. He and Hepzibah apparently had no surviving issue on that date. The will was lodged 15 Jul 1737, and proved 1 Aug 1737.[8]

Joseph4 and Hepzibah (Flagg) Whitney had no children.
