John Stanley8 Whitney (Zimri7, John6, Zachariah5, John4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Zimri7 and Susanna (Sanderson) Whitney, was born 21 May 1822, Rindge, NH, and died 24 Oct 1881, Jaffrey, NH.

Marriage intentions were published 13 Nov 1847, Charlestown, MA, for him and Veleria P. Johnson.[1] He married, 25 Nov 1847, Charlestown, MA, Valeria P. Johnson, daughter of Joseph and Martha (-----) Johnson.[2] She was born about 1824 or 1829, VT, or Charlestown, MA, and died after 1860.

He married secondly, between 1860 and 1880, Eliza S. -----. She was born about 1826, NH, and died after 1880.

He resided Jaffrey, NH, and had 5 children.
