Family:Whitney, Herbert Harwood (1845-1913)

Herbert Harwood⁸ Whitney (Abial⁷, Timothy Holt⁶, Richard⁵, Israel⁴, Ebenezer³, Richard², John¹), son of Abial⁷ and Hannah Whitney (Harwood) Whitney, was born 7 Jun 1845, Athens, VT, and died 3 Jan 1913, Athens, VT. He was buried in Athens Valley Cemetery, Athens, VT.^[1]

He married, 4 Dec 1865, Athens, VT, Eliza Lydia Stiles, daughter of Gideon and Fanny Elizabeth (Davis) Stiles^[2] (see Family:Whitney, Charles (1811-1876)). She was born 1 Feb 1846, Athens, VT, and died 30 Oct 1899. Divorce filed 13 July 1888, Saline Co., KS. She married secondly, 24 Aug 1889, Saline Co., KS, Edwin Franklin Pidge (1838–1908).
