Granville Whitney (Robert, John, Edward), son of Robert and Mary E. (Bennett) Whitney), was born about 1854, ME, and died 13 Jan 1890, Providence, RI [recorded at Fitchburg, MA], aged 64 years 1 months 20 days, of perityklelitis heart failure,[1]

He married, 7 Nov 1875, Penobscot Co., ME, Elmira J. Perry, "both of Lincoln".[2] She married secondly, 12 Apr 1890, Lincoln, ME, Reuben J. Crafts.[3]
