Gershom York⁷ Whitney (Thomas⁶, Benjamin⁵, Joseph⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Thomas⁶ and Annie (York) Whitney, was born 14 Sep 1834, North Tunbridge, VT, and died after 1880.

He married, 3 Mar 1868, Williamstown, VT, Marietta⁷ Whitney, daughter of Franklin⁶ and Catherine (Kemp) Whitney.^[1] She was born 4 Mar 1847, and died 21 Jun 1876.

He is a farmer; resided North Tunbridge, VT.
