Alfred R. Whitney (Leonard), son of Leonard and Celia (Hart) Whitney, was born Aug 1850, Bartlett, NH, and died 22 Jan 1929, Conway, NH, aged 79 years 5 months, of pneumonia.^[1] He was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Londonderry, NH.^[2]

He married firstly, about 1878, Victoria H. Gray. She was born 21 Sep 1855, Bartlett, NH, and died 1 Mar 1912, Dover, NH. She was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Londonderry, NH.^[3]

He married secondly, 1 Jan 1916, North Conway, MH, Mary Elizabeth (Nutt) Coolan, daughter of Charles and Mary (Jordan) Nute.^[4] She was born 16 Mar 1855, and died 9 Feb 1929, Conway, NH. She was buried in Glen Cemetery, Glen, NH.^[5] She had married firstly, about 1878, William Coolan.
