Alexander Shumway7 Whitney (Abner6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Abner6 and Polly (White) Whitney, was born about 1817, MA, and died after 1880, but before 1895 (when his wife is called widowed at her death).
He married, 28 Apr 1839, Londonderry, VT, Mehitable Davis,[1] daughter of Silas and Susannah (Tenney) Davis. She was born 22 Sep 1809, Londonderry, VT, and died 27 Mar 1895, Orange, MA, aged 85 years 6 months 5 days, of old age.[2]
Alexander Shumway7 and Mehitable (Davis) Whitney apparently had no children.
