Abel6 Whitney (Benjamin5, Joseph4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Benjamin5, was born 15 Mar 1770, Pepperell, MA,[1] and died 29 Jul 1845, Tunbridge, VT.
He married, 21 Mar 1793, Pepperell, MA, Phebe Scott.[2] She died 23 Mar 1839.
Abel Whitney was born on a farm in Pepperell, MA. Soon after his marriage, in 1794, he moved to a farm in Tunbridge, VT, where he ever after resided.
