Mary Wellington (Mary4 Whitney, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), daughter of (Benjamin and Mary4 (Whitney) Wellington, was born 20 Oct 1732, Lexington, MA,[1] baptized 22 Oct 1732, Lexington, MA, and died 12 Apr 1806, Bedford, MA.[2]

Mary married firstly, 10 Jan 1750/1, Bedford, MA, James Lane, son of James and Mary (Minot) Lane. He was born 8 Mar 1725/6, Billerica, MA, and died 4 Jan 1799, Bedford, MA.

Mary married secondly, 21 Nov 1799, Billerica, MA, Capt. John Moore, son of John and Elizabeth (Colburn) Moore, as his second wife. He was born 16 Mar 1729, Bedford, MA, and died 24 Sep 1807, Bedford, MA, aged 78 years. He had married firstly, 17 Jul 1759, Bedford, MA, Mary Wheeler (1725-1797).

Pierce says the following:[3]

Mary WELLINGTON, dau. of Benj. and Mary (WHITNEY) WELLINGTON; m. 1st. Jan. 10,1751, to James LANE, of Bedford, son of James and Martha (MINOT) LANE. He was b. Mar. 4 (or 8), 1725 (or 6), and d. suddenly Jan. 4 (or 24), 1799. His widow m. 2nd. Capt. John MOORE, of Bedford, Ch.: Oliver Wellington; James, b. Mar. 10, 1754; m. June 6, 1805, Molly POLLARD; Solomon, b. Aug. 7, 1756; m. Sarah STEARNS; David, b. Mar. 11, 1758; m. 1st. Molly LANE; m. 2nd. Pheobe LANE; Isaac, b. May 13, 1766; d. May 24, 1803, without issue.

Children of James and Mary (Wellington) Lane, all born Bedford, MA:

i. Oliver Wellington Lane, b. 27 Oct 1751. "Oliver Wellington LANE, son of James and Mary (WELLINGTON) LANE, b. Oct. 27, 1751. Graduated Harvard College 1772; M.A. 1779. Died in Boston Nov. 8, 1793. Married Susannah NEWMAN. He was the most famous schoolmaster of his day in Boston. Deacon of the First Universalist church of Boston.
Ch.: James Bowdoin, b. Aug. 4, 1785; Augustus Frederick, b. May 12, 1787; Thomas Parker, b. Mar. 30, 1791; John Murray, b. Apr. 29, 1793; d. June 20, 1794. A des. is Dr. Arthur Whitney CLARK, of Lawrence, Kas."[4]
ii. James Lane, b. 10 Mar 1754; m. 6 Jun 1805, Molly Pollard.
iii. Solomon Lane, b. 7 Aug 1756; m. Sarah Stearns.
iv. David Lane, b. 11 Mar 1759; m.(1) Molly Lane; m.(2) Phoebe Lane.
v. Phebe Lane, b. circa 1762.
vi. Isaac Lane, b. 13 May 1766; d. 24 May 1803, without issue.

John and Mary (Wellington)(Lane) Moore had no children.
