Family:Whitney, Rufus (1791-1869)

Rufus⁷ Whitney (Abel⁶, Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Abel⁶ and Elizabeth (Spenny) Whitney, was born 13 Mar 1791 (twin), Guilford, VT,^[1] and died 31 Mar 1869, West Fairlee, VT.^[2]

He married firstly, 8 Jul 1816, Athens, VT, Sally Holden.^[3]

He married secondly, 30 Sep 1833, Westfield, VT, Mary H. Dodge.^[4] She was born about 1812, NH, and died after 1870.

iii.	Abigail Whitney, b. 16 Nov 1827, Westfield, VT;[6] d. 24 Aug 1828, Wsstfield, VT.
iv.	Roxey Whitney, b. 20 Feb 1830, Westfield, VT.[7]
