Norman Whitney (John), son of John and Jane (Gilson) Whitney, was born about 1 Mar 1829, Keene, NH, and died 26 Jul 1857, Lowell, MA, aged 28 years 4 months 25 days, of consumption.[1]

He married, 3 Feb 1853, Lowell, MA, Eliza Ann Demick,[2] daughter of Jacob Wilson and Eliza (Roberts) Demick. She was born about 1832, Concord, NH, and died after 1855.

Whitney, b. 5 Jul 1853, Lowell, MA;[3] "Lizzie J." d. 16 Apr 1889, Boston, MA, aged 35 years 9 months 6 days, of puerperal ecclampsia (pulmonary edema);[4] "Lizzie J." m. 1 Oct 1872, Charlestown, MA (also recorded Boston, MA), Jerome F. Rice, b. ca. 1847, Boston, MA, son of Henry and Mary L. (-----) Rice.[5]
ii. (son) Whitney, b. 25 Jul 1855, Lowell, MA;[6] no further record.
