p. 152, #860: David⁶ WHITNEY married, 25 Nov 1791, Westminster, MA, Elizabeth BARNES of Princeton, according to Westminster vital records, or Elizabeth BARNS, according to Princeton vital records. Her surname was originally BARRON, which name often mutated into BARN(E)S, and she was daughter of Oliver and Mary (-----) BARRON, according to Heywood's History of Westminster, 1728-1893, p. 923.
