- "(Note 51) The widow Bull was in fact Eleanor (Whitney), widow of Richard Bull, gent. Eleanor was daughter of James Whitney, Esq., of Clifford, co. Hereford, and his wife Alice (Parry), younger sister of Blanche Parry, Queen Elizabeth's childhood nurse and Gentlewoman of the Chamber until her death in 1589.
