"Sir Giles de Breuse marriedfirst Beatrice de St. Elen, daughter and heiress of John de St. Elen (d. 1295) of Crowell, Oxfordshire, leaving descendants (Collectanea Topographica et Genealogica, VI [1840], 334); and secondly Maud de Whitney, by whom he had John de Breuse (VIII)."
