He married (intentions recorded 23 Nov. 1801) SARAH WHITNEY, born 3 Sept. 1779, daughter of William and Mary Whitney of Winchendon, Mass. Sarah (Whitney) Bancroft married secondly, 16 Nov. 1826, Ephraim Wright.
