- WALTER EDWARD PARKER, A.M., of Lawrence, Mass., elected a resident member and made a life member in 1895, was born at Princeton, Mass., 27 September 1847, the son of George and Emily Richardson (Coller) Parker, and died at Lawrence 25 October 1924.
- He was descended from Thomas1 Parker, who came to New England from London, England, in 1635, and settled first at Lynn, Mass., and later at Reading, Mass., where he was a deacon of the church and where he died in 1683, through Lieut. Hananiah2, 1638-1724, whose first wife was Elizabeth Browne, John3, 1664-1741, of Lexington, Mass., who married Deliverance Dodge, Andrew4, 1693-1776, who married Sarah Whitney, Thomas5, whose wife was Jane Parrot of Chelmsford, Mass., Ebenezer6, 1750-1839, a corporal in Capt. Parker's company at Lexington and Bunker Hill, who married, as his first wife, Dorcas Monroe and settled in Princeton, Ebenezer7, 1784-1869, whose wife was Harriet Brooks Meriam of Concord, Mass., and George8, his father, who was born at Princeton 1 February 1818, married, in 1841, Emily Richardson Coller (born at Northfield, Mass., 17 January 1819, daughter of Hezekiah Briggs and Rhoda (Robbins) Coller), and died at Blackstone, Mass., 20 January 1893.

- ANNIE HAMILTON BROWN, of Stoneham, Mass., elected a resident (annual) member in 1901 and made a life member in 1919, was born at Stoneham 4 December 1869, the daughter of Charles Hamilton and Oriana (Tidd) Brown, and died there 19 September 1929.
- She traced her descent from Jethro Brown, who married Mollie Haynes, through Lyman, 1767-1854, whose wife was Miriam Whitney, Alexander Hamilton, 1810-1886, whose first wife was Adelia Spaulding, and Charles Hamilton Brown, her father, leather manufacturer, who was born at Leominster, Mass., 27 February 1839 and died at Stonehamm 25 March 1904. Her mother, Oriana Tidd, a descendant of John Tidd, one of the earliest settlers of Woburn, was born at Woburn 16 Jul 1839, the daughter of William and Harriet Hartshorn (Flagg) Tidd.
- She was educated in the public schools of Stoneham and at Lasell Seminary, at Auburndale, Mass. She lived all her life in her native town. She was greatly interested in bird and animal life and maintained a sanctuary for birds and squirrels. She was a member and a liberal supporter of the Unitarian Church. For many years ill health had prevented her from activity in social and community affairs. In her will she made generous bequests to charitable organizations of Boston and Stoneham and left a fund of $100,000 for an addition to the Stoneham Public Library. She had no immediate relatives.
