[p. 240-241]

15. Thomas4 Fayerweather (Benjamin3, John2, Thomas1) was born 17 October 1709, baptized at Stratfield, Connecticut, 23 October 1709 (Old Fairfield, 2:199), and died probably at Norwalk between 27 September 1799, when he acknowledged a deed of that date and 10 April 1800, when that deed was recorded (Norwalk Deeds, 19:224). His name does not appear in the 1800 Federal Census for Connecticut.
He married Mary Hanford by 9 May 1733, the date of her father's will in which she was named as Mary Fayerweather (Fairfield Probate Abstracts 1704-1757, 70, citing original vol. 9). No birth date has yet been found for Mary, but she was the daughter of Thomas and Hannah (Lockwood) (Burwell) Hanford, who were married about 1692 (Frederic A. Holden and E. Dunbar Lockwood, compilers, Descendants of Robert Lockwood - Colonial and Revolutionary History of the Lockwood Family in American from A.D. 1630 [Philadelphia, 1889], 54) so if Mary were married about 1730 at age 20, she would have been born about 1770. She died probably before 21 February 1744/5, when her mother made her will without mentioning her. [snip]
