i. Stillman E.9 Whitney, born 3 Mar 1856; resided Rockport, Mendocino County, California. ii. Emma J. Whitney, born 13 Jul 1866; married at San Luis Obispo, 1 Jun 1889; Jacob A. Biren; resided Los A. He was born 3 Mar 1862. - Ch.: Fred N., born in Los Alamos, 2 Mar 1890; Cecelia A., born in Los Alamos, 14 May 1892.
iii. John S. Whitney, born 13 Jan 1870; resided Suisun, Solano County, California. iv. Fred E. Whitney, born 24 Oct 1872; resided Los A. He was born in California; received an excellent common school education, fitted for college, and by teaching part of the time worked his way through; resided Los Alamos.
